Equine -assisted learning (EAL) is a learning approach that promotes the development of life skills for educational, professional and personal goals through equine-assisted activities. JoyRide follows PATH Intl. standards of professionalism and safety for Equine Assisted Learning.. Group sessions are provided by Path Intl certified instructors.

PREP Day Program

Small group sessions of up to 9 participants, supported by a certified teacher and a mentor or job coach. This interactive site-based work setting promotes functional academics, independent life skills, and vocational skills.

Therapeutic Riding

Small group lessons, of 2 to 4 riders, taught by PATH Intl. certified therapeutic riding instructors. The focus is on riding skills & horse care combined with exercise, education, sensory modulation, social skills and independence, as well as competition opportunities.

Operation Equine

Private or group lessons that are led by a PATH Intl. Certified Equine Specialist.  Lessons consist of equine assisted activities that are aimed at rebuilding critical life skills and are focused on the needs of Veterans and First Responders.
