 The
JoyRide spring semester is officially underway! So many amazing
things have happened in such a short period of time: JoyRide has
a home, an amazing group of clients, volunteers and supporters and in a
few weeks...indoor plumbing! The construction on our indoor space has
progressed quickly, with special thanks to Jake Leissner, Northwinds
Construction and Bill McDonald, D & L Electric.
We are in need of a few things to
finish out the building. If you can help
with or know someone who might help with any of the following, contact
Bill McDonald, bill@dandlelectric.com.
: cabinets, countertops, carpentry services to install cabinets/trim,
electric range, over-the-range microwave, washer/dryer, flooring,
mobile home.

your hammer, nails, paint brush/rollers and work gloves and join
us for a day of building, painting and other tasks to get the JoyRide
facility one step closer to being finished. RSVP to Roger Wagner,

Even
with a beautiful facility, JoyRide will go nowhere without active
Fundraising and Public Relations teams.
If
you have experience or the desire to help plan special events,
write grants, obtain prizes and auction items, or stuff, seal,and stamp
for a mail-out, then JoyRide needs you on the Fundraising Team!
The first meeting of the Fundraising team
will be Tuesday,
February 2, 6:30 PM, at the home of Kris & Steve
Ward, 23715 Indian Hills Circle, Tomball, 77377. RSVP to Jackie

T-shirts are in!

The
pre-ordered t-shirts are in....finally (after a spelling mishap
needed to be corrected!) They may be picked up at JoyRide or if
you are unable to come out to get your shirt, email Peggy, pwagner@joyridecenter.org,
with your address and we'll put yours in the mail. If you missed
the first order, there is an order form at JoyRide where you can
place your order for t-shirts, short-sleeved ($10) or long-sleeved
($12), and sweatshirts ($20).
