Dear
Robin ,
When
we asked you to help "Jumpstart the Joy", you
really came through! This fundraiser exceeded our wildest dreams,
raising over $20,000! Thank you to everyone who bought
briskets and chickens, t-shirts, hoofprints, silent auction baskets,
BBQ lunches, Horse Apple Bingo squares or just handed us a
check. Of equal importance was the fact that you
came to show your support...approximately 175-200 of you!
A huge joy hug goes out to the More or Less Cookers for preparing all
that delicious meat! The funds raised will be put to use
immediately to help with construction costs for the
office/restrooms/multi-purpose room, and to get the property ready for
horses to live there. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
JoyRide has been officially jumpstarted!

Breakfast with 4-legged Santas
Some 4-legged Santas would like to invite you and your
family out to JoyRide to ring in the holiday season.
Breakfast will be served. Have your photo taken with
"Santa". Crafts for the kids. Please RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 1,
to pwagner@joyridecenter.org
with the number of kids and adults that will be attending, so the
elves will be sure to have enough for everyone. No
charge! Just bring enough joy to share.

Another Work Day at JoyRide
It is time to get JoyRide ready to house horses!
Immediately following Breakfast with 4-legged Santas, we will start
work on fence and shelter building plus some tree trimming and
painting. (Sneaky, huh! We feed you then invite you to
work!) Bring work gloves, hammers, nails, paint brushes, etc.
Contact Bill McDonald, bill@DandLelectric.com for
more information.

Check out the Website!
Visit www.joyridecenter.org to see our
beautiful new website. Parts of it are still under construction, but
there are some great photo slideshows of the workday, fundraiser and
the clients in the pilot program. Thank you to Robin Maxwell for
donating her time and talent as our webmaster.
